Football equipment in England: A guide to the best in football equipment

By David McLean and Simon Dolan, ABC NewsIn a country where the national football team and the major sport’s biggest stars are often seen playing in the same ground, a team of footballers are often more likely to have the same equipment.

“It’s very similar to the US where you have the NFL team and then you have all the minor league baseball teams,” said Andrew Williams, who teaches sports marketing at Gold Coast University.

“We see the same kind of thing happening in England where there’s all the big players playing in one place.”

A team of Australian and New Zealand players playing togetherThe biggest problem for players like Williams is getting the equipment to work.

“There are different ways to get the equipment and it’s all based on who you are and the way you look, so if you’re really tall or if you play with an athletic physique, you may need to put on a helmet and gloves,” he said.

“The helmets, the gloves, the boots, the trainers – the whole thing is all different.”

That may be true, but the biggest difference is that players are more likely than not to be wearing a different style of equipment.

A football helmet can cost from $1,500-$4,000, while a standard football glove costs around $1.50.

But for the most part, the best players in the world are in the UK, where the best football equipment is still imported from overseas.

“In England, the main players are in Wales and Scotland,” Mr Williams said.

“So when you have that difference in the equipment, there’s a lot more of an opportunity for them to do the same things.”

And so it goes for some of the biggest names in the game, like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez.

The same goes for footballers like David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard.

It’s a similar story in the United States.

“There’s a huge difference between the US and Australia in terms of what the best athletes are wearing,” Mr Macdonald said.

But the biggest differences don’t seem to be sporting.

Footballers in the US are more often seen wearing gloves, but some have different types of helmets.

And while there are similarities in the different types and sizes of helmets used by players, it’s a different story for the equipment.

The difference between a soccer ball and a football is a lot less than it used to be.

The ball has been replaced by a football helmet with a more secure fit and a larger visor, but that’s not the biggest change.

“One of the big differences is the visor,” Mr Dolan said.
