The latest NFL player contract negotiation has been dominated by the issue of player health, health insurance, and pay.
Now, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and players have both agreed to put their heads down and get to work on fixing the league’s health and safety issues.
As part of the deal, players will be able to choose to have their health insurance through an entity called “a company of record,” or “CORE,” instead of the traditional individual plan, which is owned by the league.
That’s good news for fans, but it’s bad news for players, who will have to worry about their own health and wellbeing.
The CORE system will have an “all-inclusive” coverage plan for players that will be paid for by the NFL and is subject to changes based on the players’ health.
That means players will receive a lower percentage of their health care costs in addition to their share of salary.
As such, players who can’t afford to buy the CORE plan will not be eligible for the $50 million bonus that is guaranteed to be handed out to players who sign an All-Pro contract.
That makes it clear that, while the Cores system will be available to players for free, players are only eligible to sign for it if they sign a minimum of $50.6 million in salary and bonuses over five years.
While that’s a good thing for players who are under contract and are paying full price, it’s not a good deal for players on the market.
The $50 Million bonus is a lot of money, but players are getting more money than they should be, especially for a player who is getting paid more than $100 million a year.
It’s not the first time the COS system has been criticized.
Last year, a player named Jeremy Maclin was told he had to give up $75 million in incentives to stay in the league, and the COs compensation plan was criticized for being too high.
At the time, COS was still being implemented, and it still had an unfair advantage over other sports, so it’s understandable that people are frustrated with it.
That doesn’t mean COS is a bad system, though.
For one, it allows players to receive bonuses that will cover the full cost of their insurance, which means players are likely to be better off than other players on their team.
Players will also be able get health insurance that covers more of their medical expenses, which makes the COT plan even more appealing to players.
And as we all know, health care is a big deal in the NFL, so the COTS plan should benefit both the player and the league in the long run.
However, as with most of the NFL’s problems, it will take a while for COS to get fixed.
The NFL has been in talks with the CTS since September, and they have agreed to sign a five-year contract that will pay the league $75.6 billion over the next five years and pay out $17.9 billion in bonuses.
The money will be split between the CORS and COS plans, which will be rolled into a single collective bargaining agreement for the league to implement in 2018.
That will give players a clear voice in how their health benefits are paid, and players can use the Cors plan as their primary health insurance provider if they wish.
Players are also set to receive the COOI (cost-of-living adjustment) for the first two years of the agreement, which can be used to adjust the amount of money they receive for health insurance.
The kicker is that the COFI is set to go into effect in 2019, which would put the COSS system in jeopardy.
The deal was signed on Monday and the parties have until December 1 to get the agreement done.
It will likely be difficult for players to see any sort of improvement in their health, because the COCs plan will still be a popular option for some players, but there will likely come a point where the Cofis will become a necessity for players and players will have little choice but to use it.
The fact that the league is even talking about it is good news, because while the health care system is a very complex one, we’re getting better every day.
That progress shouldn’t come at the expense of other parts of the league and players should have the ability to choose their health plan.
